Is power inverter through a cigarett lighter enough to power a notebook?

I'm gonna buy a 400Watts power inverter, after doing some reasearch i've found that the max that it'll produce is 150W through the cigarett lighter unless I hard wire it (i will not hardwire it). So at 150Watts is it possible to recharge or power a notebook? i got a dell 600m. thanks.

Yes. I have a 90W inverter, and it runs my girlfriend's notebook nicely.
