Is this a good bundle?

Is it some ready to roll computers or just bundles?

To respond to Knufire: Are you saying that the AMD APU shown on the link may lag during HD youtube or the actual graphic card integrated into the motherboard?

Everything but the OS, mouse, keyboard, speakes and Screen. If you already have these things mentioned just now, then you are good to go, just install your favorite OS and off you go.

To respond to boxingchaos : sounds just great.

*Knufire: Ok that's great thanks for answering my questions.

Other than that if we come back to the 1st bundle I shown you guys (the oned I prefered) do you think, no mather the quality, that the bundle is worth the price (about 260$ with the coupons) ?

Maybe two years ago, but now? Nope.

Hold on, we all understand what he want's the computer for, Surfing, school, and editing sound files, making music. He don't need a monster machine like you boys have here, I have seen some of the insane Monsters you boys have and we should be laughed out of the water by you guys lol but he is not looking to overclock or even play games. he just want's a cheap computer and that is basically what he will get. Despite the computer being old/outdated, it will surely serve his little purpose, right? or am I wrong? And even though the computer price should be much lower, we unfortunately as a community do not have any control over that.

Ish, I just want to reiterate the quality vs. performance thing.

Buying old/outdated hardware isn't a bad thing, but why pay new prices for old hardware? There are plenty of used computers he could buy cheap that would still reflect quality.

Also, where his budget's at, he gets TREMENDOUS gains for every couple more dollars he can spend. I know he's on a tight budget, but what I suggested at $350 will probably last a LOT longer then that bundle.

In fact I totaly agree with Knufire, but what chaosboxing is saying is definitly right, this bundle would probalby serve all my needs for now.
But if you tell me I can get better stuff with the actual money I would spend on the bundle, then why not getting the good stuff.

By the way question : what do you think about the GIGABYTE GA-A75M-D2H FM1 motherboard, it's pretty recent and it's made to hold the AMD APU A6

This bundle looks nice and of better quality and is not so expensive : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.752634

That's a pretty nice combo. Again, the only gripes I have with it are the case/PSU. Also, you might not need 1TB of storage, and since HDDs are so expensive right now, you could save a lot going with a smaller one.

The thing about picking parts yourself is that you can custom tune it to exactly what you need and not have to pay more. :)

Yea you'r right, Ive been shopping today downtown for some bundles, didn't found anything interesting, I think building everything from the ground up will be the best option:

I may bust on my budget but so far I'm looking into this:
Is this good?
What kind of fan would fit on the CPU/motherboard

It does if you got the one in a box. If it says OEM, it doesn't. The link was broken, so I figured you got the retail.

OEM (No Fan) - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103994
Retail (with Fan) - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103942

However, if you want to overclock, you should get an unlocked chip with a good aftermarket heatsink and try it out. :)

TIM comes preapplied on the stock heatsink, if you get the aftermarket heatsink it comes with some. No need to get a different TIM unless you need to have your CPU those few degrees cooler.

What's the difference between both purchase??

BTW link repaired.*

All require a fan. All modern processors require a heatsink and fan to remove the LOADS of heat they dump.

Processors can come with out a fan, for those who want to use an aftermarket cooling solution.
