Just started my winter folding, GTX1080 keeps returing failed WUs

Hey guys,
firing up the desktop for my season fold-fest and im having a bunch of issues with my GTX 1080, it keeps returning failed WUs, then wont download new WUs, then as soon as the CPU is done it wont DL a new WU either. I have no idea where to even start looking, logs done seem to tell me much other then the WU fails. Im on the latest GPU driver(375.70), GPU is at stock speeds and the CPU(2600k) is OC'd to 4.0 with temps around 50-55 at max load and rock solid stability. And suggestions?

Are you using all CPU cores for folding? If so drop your core count by 2, core 21 WU's need 1 CPU core to handle the GPU. You may need to download the GPUs.txt file, F@H thinks you have a GTX 980 in there.

It was originally auto-set to seven cores, I dropped it to 6 cores and so far so good, we'll see what happens when the WUs finish

Thanks! i'll downgrade my drivers and test it out
 
I just started up my 970 a few days ago & kept having failures. I rolled back to driver version 373 and now I'm looking forward to getting some better ppd. Thx
