I noticed that some people on this board managed to achieve some very good OC results using an Abit KT7A and OC-Master's modded BIOS. What I'd like to know is:

- Will my Abit KT7A (Rev. 1.0) together with that crazy BIOS be able to handle an Athlon XP-M 2600+?
- What cooling device would you recommend for this upgrade?
- What OC results should I aim for?

These are the CPU details given in the webshop I'm planning to order the CPU from:

------------------------------------------------------------
AMD Athlon XP-M 2600+ (OPGA, "Barton", Mainstream)

- Core: 1,4 V
- I/O: 3,3 V
- Max. power input: 47 W

------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks in advance!

Do you have that board already, id you don't get an nf7 or nf7-s, they come with the nforce2 chipset which has the agp/pci lock which will help get you higher fsb mhz. Most 2600+ or 2500+ mobiles will do 2.5ghz at 1.75 or lower voltage, and cooling you should be looking for something from thermalright, they make the best hs, like a SLK900U,SLK-800 or the SP94.
