Hello there :)

I've bought a Lian Li PC-Q03 and my build's to replace an ageing little Dell Zino.

I've been out of this old game for a long time (Socket A days).

Am I right in thinking that a 65W CPU is going to be better suited to the case than the 100W.

I was thinking of going with the (AMD A10 5700 CPU (3.4GHZ, 4MB Cache, 4 Core, HD7660D, Socket FM2, 65W)

Thermalright AXP-100 ITX Cooler

Other parts of the build:

MSI FM2-A75IA-E53 AMD FM2 Mini-ITX Motherboard

Corsair Builder Series CXM 430W Modular 80 PLUS PSU

I'm also going to be adding 1xSSD and 1x 2.5 HDD

Not going to bother with the extra video car at the minute.

Any advice is much welcomed :D

That is a freaking cool case! I love it!

whats your budget? Sounds like you want an office utility pc more than a gaming beast, so I would recommend an i3 with a micro atx board and a cheap video card simply for expandability options.

You can go without the graphics card as well, that would cut it down to less than 400$.

edit: i went with 1 stick of 4gb ram to leave upgradability in the future. 2x2 would be a bit faster, but not enough to matter for what you're apparently wanting performance wise.
Im also assuming a lot here, correct me if Im wrong!

Hi Bob, sorry I'm only getting round to replying now :)

This is what I went for after much head wrecking :

AMD A10 5800K Black Edition
Noctua NH-L9a CPU Cooler
MSI FM2-A75IA-E53
Corsair Builder Series CXM 500W Modular 80 PLUS
WD 1TB Desktop SATA Hard Drive - Green
Samsung CD DVRW SATA (Slim)
Crucial BLT4G3D1869DT2TXOBCEU 4GB Ballistix

And of course the Lian li PC-Q03 (It's a little beauty)
