Lighted USB cables..

When I first saw the thread I thought they might be lit through the whole length of the cable. But alas only the ends.
It'd be cool if I ever saw the end connecters of my USB cables but the only thing I use a/b usb cables on is the printer and scanner. Neither of which I can see the back of.
It would make an interesting Mod for a usb connector on a mouse or keyboard though.
