This is what I have so far, looking to purchase in September so I have time to make sure I'm getting the best for my buck before then so I don't regret a bad purchase. Any place you see where I could skim down on the price a bit?
I'm looking to do High end gaming/modding on games.
How would a system like this run things like Crysis (On max), Skyrim (with max ENB graphics), and gaming over the next couple years?

I also plan on getting an SSD later when I have more money, but right now It's not in the list here.

Alright, I am going to assume your budget is around $1300 for this build. I see some good choices so far but there are a couple things you could change. I will just go down your list and address each one.

CPU: Excellent choice. You may be able to go to a sandybridge setup if you wanted to save even more money but this is up to you.

CPU Cooler: I would recommend upgrading this if you are overclocking your processor (which I am assuming you will do). Something like a Hyper 212 Evo could do the trick around that price range.

Motherboard: Solid board. I am currently using it and have had no problems other than a minor initial setup snag (stupidity was on my part).

Memory: Very good. 8GB will be fine for gaming.

HDD: I haven't heard much on the spinpoint series but it looks like a good drive from what I see.

Video Card: Alright, I think we can save a bit of money here. Since I see you are only running one monitor at 1080P, you will be perfectly fine going to a 670 instead of a 680. There is about a 5% difference in performance between the two and you will not notice any real difference at 1080P. I would recommend grabbing a 670 like this one which uses a 680 board but has the 670 processor on it. It will also save you a nice bit of money to! :)

Case: Looks like a good case. Others may have recommendations on this.

PSU/Monitor/Drive: All good choices.

Try changing out some of those components and see where you are price wise.

I like it all, and especially the 670 suggestion. That should allow you to get a decent sized SSD as well...

I would revisit this in September though when you are actually ready to pull the trigger. MANY things can change in 2 months.

^ Definitely this. Might be able to change some things around september time to lower the price even more.
