major problem, please help!!

Ok, so last night my pc was fine. Today i go to turn it on, nothing is getting power. My fans dont spin, things connected just to psu like fans dont spin, mobo fans dont spin, nothing. No power in the least......why?

um, not sure... let's see...

try unplugging the mobo power plug and jump pins 14 and 16 (or the green wire with any black one). this would be like pressing the power button. see if the fans or anything come on. if yes, something else is wrong... if no, then bad psu

Or if you have another psu it would be easier (safer) to just try that one directly.

im not really sure where jump pins 14 and 16 are, but im about positive that its a bad psu.

just jump the green wire to one of the blacks... to see if this psu really is bad. if you have another psu, drop that in and see what happens
