Now we just need moar benching team members. I hope that people who take part in this competition don't get discouraged because their scores aren't in first place. If you have any piece of hardware, you can continually work to reach the maximum for that piece of hardware. As much as we all love to be competitive, sometimes comparing your scores to other people is a bad idea since it leads most people to think they are doing something wrong, etc. I suggest you submit on HWbot, and then compare to the subs with equal hardware. Find someone or their score and focus on beating them into the dirt. Case and point... Matt is always chasing down MikeCDM. I love watching those battles because no matter who comes out on top, the other guy gives kudos to the winner because they both worked their a**es off. That's what benching is all about!

Well said! It's all in fun, for me anyway. I've worked my butt off on a score, to have you turn around and smoke it. It just makes me try to learn more to improve. We run similar hardware, your chip is better than mine, my 580 might be a bit better than yours. You usually win, but I get better just trying to keep up.

For those not on the team, if this interests you, join! Great group of guys on it, and the members I've talked to about stuff have been very generous in terms of time, patience, and helpful tips.

I had almost forgotten about that! Even within the team we have some good competition! Dark and I duke it out all during these monthly competitions, and then usually have a quick PM conversation to share what we each did to get our scores so we can both learn just that little bit more. It doesn't get much better than that!
