I know this is an old benchmark but it does even the playing field a bit between the 2080ti and GTX 460s this is just one of those benchmarks that'll go to whoever feels like putting the work into it. Last one for the year so let's get to it!

I just set X299 rig for benching with Vega GPU and HCC CPU which doesn't really want to make more than 5GHz. My Vega couldn't run 3DM01 at all on any OS, not to mention XP
I'm not a fan of 3DM01 in general and was just counting on something from modern benchmarks, maybe DX11/12 so CPU won't count so much and AMD guys could compete with others.

3D 01 is a DX8 Benchmark I can Submit scores all the way back to 8800 GTX's AND NO - I will not take 4 hours to run the bench. This is also a Bench that only hits 4 cores or less on the CPU (this is info for ultrataco, not sure if on benching team). CPU speed is king.
If you have AMD Cards - I know Driver 15.7.1 and R9-290x and below will work. I'm not sure of the newer cards/drivers...

Results on newer AMD are low and the latest series may won't even run in this benchmark. For example, on my Vega, I get benchmark errors.
This is 1 CPU core benchmark but optimal are 2 cores so one will handle background processes.
I guess it would be better if you focused on one single GPU and one multi GPU result, not 10+ on various cards.

Re GPU itself, it works the best on AMD HD5000-7000 series and Nvidia GTX500-900.

I was expecting a bit more, but running win 10.. newest drivers all around.. ahh well. I bumped the gpu core 83MHz, but it still boosts to 1500, if I set to 1500, it will boost to 1518 or so, and with higher mem clocks it doesn't appreciate that too much. Stock voltage

Running the bench in this order helps. And don't forget to play with LOD.

Wait, tweak the benchmark?? What good is the benchmark if I run on defaults and ED turns all settings dwn and gets higher score?

Taco, benchmarking is race, not a beauty contest. The goal is to get to the end the fastest.......or in this case, get the highest score (within Hwbot rules). Tweaking of benchmarks, again within Hwbot rules, is acceptable.

We prefer all go no show, not all show, no go.
