Appears like the paparazzi will dig up just about anything for some attention. When the dust settles, there will be 20xGPU (see updated sig) on T32 and 2x970 GPUs on Cure. Moved a lot of hardware around to optimize things a bit. Also bought enough batteries to connect all the folding systems, cable modem and networking hardware to UPS, which were able to keep everything running last night when storms blipped the power several times. Hopefully will be able to keep the farm running while traveling.

Accidentally deleted my prior post quoted above by Mac while attempting to edit on mobile device. Was attempting to change 20 GPU to 15 GPU. Any chance mod can restore the deleted post?

Nice! Lots of hardware and cables! You have a very understanding wife and a door to keep pets out! All mine are cased in Antec Skeleton or Xigmatek Elysium to avoid issues.

HayesK, Your wife has not yet inquired about the "whirring" sounds coming from this room?

We celebrated our 35th anniversary last month and she has been pretty good sport about all the computer stuff over the years. The computer room is adjacent to the master bedroom and sometimes she closes the bedroom door to avoid the fan noise and fan/gpu lights. The bright white LEDs on 1070FTWs were an issue, but was able to find linux driver command to turn the LEDs off.

Returned home to find all the computers still running with a few slots stalled, all of which resumed folding OK except for one of the 1080Ti SC black, which is now out for RMA.

I am still looking at replacing the remaining 970s with 1080Tis. Which 1080Ti model did you decide to upgrade the remainder of the hosts with?
