i cannot get my ram over ddr429. no matter what i try, more voltage, looser timings, a combo of both, burning in the ram. NOTHING! its soo frustrating because im using a 5:6 divider already instead of 1:1. i cant find anything else to do, and with ram prices falling, i cant see any reason to not upgrade(except for lack of funds of course.)

i looked at a bucnh of sticks of ram, and on my limited budget, ive lowered the number of contenders to these 4 sticks of RAM.

ive heard the last stick has the UTT chips in it. any suggestions would be welcomed greatly.

I'd bet on the Patriot, but I don't know what chips are in it. There are some folks around here who can give you more knowledgeable advice. Good luck with it.

max budget is around 80 to 85 bucks. ram prices have fallen. im kinda opposed to the whole 2x256 casue of abits great idea to have 2 memory slots only on the kv8-pro. but, yea im open to the 2x256 is it comes down to that.

yea ive been thinking about the twinmos stick, but im afraid ill run into the same issue i have now, low overclocking ceiling. and i dont have the money/modding skills to buy a ddr booster or do a vdimm mod. ive read the ram chips lists here, including the one that lists the types of chips and the one that tells what chips are in what ram, and those posts are leading me towards the kingmax hardcore.

Kingmax Hardcore uses Hynix D5.

I have no problems with it at ~DDR4200 with stock timings of 3-4-4-8-1T, 2.85v. I haven't pushed it further, since my chip is limiting how much farther i can go.

I'de go w/ the patriot sticks... I have seen several people push these things up to 270+ mhz. Good luck

does anyone know of reviews of either of these exact sticks of ram?? im probably not going to get to ddr 250, cause id hafta get my htt up to 300 to get it, and im doubting i could run it 1:1 cause i plan on having the htt up around 280-ish max like best case scenario. in most reality id hope to get it to htt 275 on a 5:6 divider giving me ddr 460. thansk for the help guys
