It's the PC2700 RAM that's the key, if you have it and have good cooling and PSU, high range is required to go over 2.4 GHz and mobiles can now do that...

If you have PC3200 you have nothing to worry about.

This is very important to me, could someone please answer:

You do not need the wire trick for the desktop 2400+, I know that for sure but unlike with the desktop 2400+, you need the wire trick on 2400+ mobile if you have the Epox nForce2 (or a mobo that's not Abit-Soltek-DFI)?

speaking of tricks, whats up with the L12 mod, practically necessary? i have a mobile 2400+ in the mail that will get here mon or tues and was curious.
