Well I got a new 2gb set to replace my dead ballistix. Sadly, I haven't found any settings that are memtest stable at 260mhz. I've tried vdimm of 2.6, 2.6+.03, and 2.7. These voltages undervolt to 2.6, 2.65, and 2.7. I've read samsung UCCC has an optimal voltage of 2.66-2.67. OCZ warranties this memory for 2.9+/-5%, which is much higher at about 3.0 volts max. I also tried using these settings Eldonko used for his mushkin with UCCC but they didn't help me get 260. Right now I'm using optimized defaults except for 3-4-3-8, as they have higher bandwith and same stability at 500mhz as the other bios settings. I guess I'm just gonna have to try running with more vdimm and see if it helps. How much should I try? Are these timings good to use for this mem? Should I try a different bios? I'm about to get a new cpu and am interested to find my max memory overclock to pick what cpu multiplier I want to have availible. 260x10 would be nice.
