Hello All,
I've got a question about the new motherboard (MSI Z97M Gaming) I just ordered yesterday, I'm looking into buying an M.2 slot drive to use as the boot/system drive, can this slot (M.2) be used as a boot drive? I'm also looking for one that offers FDE (Full Disk Encryption) for TPM (Trusted Platform Module) security during system boot, is this -->Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB M.2 SSD (MZ-N5E250BW)<-- drive compatible with this board/slot? It has the features I'm looking for, security, size (GB) etc.. but, I noticed it has two (2) notches on the connector end, and the board, I be leave, has just one (1) notch, can this type be used in a single notched M.2 slot like on this board? If not, Suggestion Please!? Thanks, Phil B.
