Need advice on my build and what i can improve.

are you having a problem? that's a nice build the only thing I would upgrade is add a larger ssd.

I believe the pcpartpicker is what he has planned to upgrade TO, not "what he has" already.


That said, I would take a 4790k and z97 board over a locked i5 6500.

if 1000E is your absolute top of the tippy top budget, step down the gpu, you can change that out MUCH easier than the rest of the system

This is a little over budget, but I would sincerely say "make it work".
