Need advice on picking a 2560x1440 monitor

hello
first time posting here,Im looking to upgrade my 20" hp monitor and im looking to get a 2560x1440 monitor for gaming most games i play are bf4,bf3 and wow,cod's.But i dont know what to look for or how to pick one as this is my first time buying a 2560x1440 monitor,i was also looking at 4k monitors but 4k monitors to me i think is a waste of money for me as i saw some gameplay on youtube and 4k and 2k look the same to me and 2560x1440 monitors are much cheaper now also.Anyway i was thinking this QNIX QX2710 LED Evolution II DP Multi TRUE10 27" Matte 27 inch 2560x1440 AH-VA panel DVI HDMI DisplayPort Monitor looked ok,http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4JH1NB1871

What did you watch these videos on?
It'd be impossible to tell the difference between 1440p and 4K without watching on a 4K screen.

Are you planning on gaming on the new monitor with that 560Ti?

Don't get the "true10" version of that monitor. It doesn't overclock at all (which is half the point of getting that monitor lol)

Also, a gpu upgrade will be MANDATORY. A 560 ti won't do 1080p, much less 1440p.

Love it.

It takes some work to get the colors right and the OC right, but for the price it can't be beat. Get it off of eBay and make sure to contact the seller before purchasing requesting them to personally check for dead pixels before shipping. If they say they will, snag it.
