Need Complete Guidance for FX 4100 Overclock (Newbie)

I am a pure noob at overclocking. Don't have any knowledge about how to do that. I want to overclock my FX 4100 on the Stock Cooler Master Fan&HeatSink.
Please give a step by step instructions for that. I don't know how to do. I want to overclock it to 4GHz only
I have a 250w Acer PSU
MSI 760GM-P21 Mobo
4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM

No sense in REinventing the wheel. Here is a currently ongoing thread about overclocking an FX-4100. You can read his first post to see the information we really need to see about you system parts and pieces. He is told what to turn off in bios and in windows performance mode. It is about overclocking an FX-4100 which is what you have.

OC'ing FX4100 which is a pretty good hand-holding thread.

You can g00gle "how to use AMD AOD" and there are any number of 'hits' in g00gle. I found these two. Most is BS to me. Most of us use the bios to overclock and learn about our boards. Many 'text' how-tos, do say you should know about overclocking to really use AMD AOD.
