I'd much rather see him on an i5 Haswell than a cheap FX platform.
Cheap + FX = fires.

Truth. Sometimes I wish I could switch sides. AMD is not cheap.... at least not if you want high performance.

After seeing a few VRM's catch on fire on cheap AMD motherboards I can't, in good conscience, recommend going cheap there.
