SOLVED Need sound card help

Hi

I am using a Sennheiser PC 360 headset now and I'd like to get a soundcard for my PC as it does not sound as good as it could (it sounds better when i use it with my ipod). Any recommendations? I use onboard audio now (ASUS P7H55/USB3 motherboard) with Win7*64. I use them primarily for gaming and music (MP3-320KB/s) , but I watch the occasional movie.

Are you looking for a minimal card with headphone amp (Asus Xonar 5.1 DG) or better.
Please give sound processing or budget wanted.

ASUS Xonar series is highly regarded for analog stereo. I've heard great things about the ST and the STX:

Asus xonar DG seems like the way to go, as I will only use them with headphones, and they aren't too expensive. The ST and STX cards are way outside of my price range. I'll probably give the DG a go.
