Hey folks, I have an Emachine celeron system with Intel integrated "extreme graphics". The performance stinks...(see this post http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?p=3226213#post3226213), so I went to the emachine website to see what I could upgrade when it comes to video. They recommended these cards:
POWERCOLOR ATI RADEON 9200SE Video Card, 128MB DDR, 64-bit, DVI/TV-Out, PCI for $99.00
or
nVidia MX400 64MB DDR PCI 4X Graphic Card for $59.00
This will be my first time upgrading anything on any computer (total 'NooB' at this, and I was wondering what you folks think of it, and what (if anything) you recommend I get instead.
I don't have an AGP slot, so I am stuck with PCI video cards.
Any thoughts or suggestions GREATLY appreciated.
