i saw this on slick deals ASUS GTX460 1 GB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (Overclocking Edition) $175

currently i have a ATI 5770 that i paid about $155 earlier this year and it works great but during high action moments in SC2 with maxed units it can lag a little. I don't want to turn down my settings cause i want all the bells and whistles so would this GTX460 OCed edition do the trick? i mean for $20 more then what i paid for the 5770 isnt this much better? if so i can then ebay or sell my 5770 here when i get the new card.

i would want to play SC2 FULL settings full without no lag at all without having to pay $300+ for video if possible.

Now before you go to far, turn to the next page at that link.

they both should be able to do it, and if you arent totally satisfied NOW :)
Well i find that to achive total satisfaction when going from "Dam i am this close" to "Owned" it takes a 2X increase , instead of "if only it was just a bit more".
break on through to the other side, go all the way, anything less wont be total satisfaction.

That just leaves http://www.techspot.com/review/305-starcraft2-performance/page13.html
the games CPU dependance and lack of multithreading.

i see what your saying and of course i would want to upgrade to a i7920 but that would cost a whole lot more to buy a cpu, motherboard and new memory then simple a video card that i can swap right into my current system for little to no money at all. sooner or later i will move onto the i7 setup but right now my setup is doing ok.
