Right guys, I have narrowed it down to a few PSU's now i need your advice on which one and why.

I currently have a CiT 500 PSU which is crap and has crapped out on me a few times.

I would like the possiblilty to use this in the future for a newer GPU so ideally 2 pci-e plugs, maybe the 6 plus 2 types or at least 1 6+2 pin plug

I used the PSU calculator and found that I need 300W or there about, this seems really low as Nvidia state that I need at least 400 watts for my specific GPU.

Antec Earthwatts 500

I would like to get the Enermax 625 but failing that do you guys think its smaller bro is up to the same challenge, maybe not for future proofing but certainly for what I have got now

Like I had posted in your other thread, the Antec EA500 will do just fine, the Enermax 625 will give you some headroom for future upgrades, and of course the Corsair is also a solid unit if you are willing to spend the extra money. TBH, everyone here seems to swear by Corsair, and for good reason, but I don't see it as a good enough reason to try to talk someone out of buying another high quality PSU with a smaller price tag. Those are all great PSU's that you are looking at, and depending on how near in the future you will be upgrading, I would be most likely to look at the Enermax 625 or the Antec. Again, they are ALL quality units, and you will not regret your decision.

OK thanks guys, I bought the enermax 425,

first reason is the price only £40
second reason, its modular, I HATE cables flopping around doin crap all
third reason its got a 22 amp 12 volt rail, just as powerful if not more powerful than the others, I think the antec only has 17 amp rails.

I think this psu will last until I get a whole new rig, maybe 2 years, maybe a new GPU in the meantime, the highest ill probably go in the next year anyway is a GTX260.

Thanks for your all your opinions
