Hey all. You may want to check your agents. I noticed nearly all of mine shut themselves down around 3:30PM Central Time. I've seen another post about it at the DIMES forum. Very odd.

Macaholic, will you be contributing to our DIMES team? I know you have a huge amount of computers (I remember seeing your PPD when you folded for T32)...so I got a lil excited when I saw your name here :)

Mine have been shutting down randomly... it's rather annoying. My laptop shut down sometime last night, so it didn't even run all night.

And from a forum post over at the dimes forum, I think Macaholic is crunching for team OS X. :(

question: I've set up dimes on a few compies now, and they are all on the same network; But for some reason this one cant connect to the internet. I've uninstalled and re-installed, and this is the only one that isnt working.....

and it goes back for a little while....
I have not a clue about proxies or anything else..I know there is a button "configure proxy" when you install, but I wouldnt have a clue what to throw in there.

bleh, could bump it up more if someone knew anything about the post up a couple that I posted....could ahve another compie up.

May be there's some sort of firewall issue?

Basicly what it looks like, is that the client can't sent something OUT to the server...I'm no expert though, just trying to help a bit.

Under network in properties there's a button in the bottom right to check blocking. Maybe try pushing that.
did.

dont know if it could be a firewall, if there is one running, its not any different than on any other computer I've got running; and the other ones work.
any other suggestions?

IDEA: we need to get the guys that are on our team list (who have not contributed or have stopped), and find out what's going on, may be they have client problems, decided to stop, it would be a great idea to get them onto the team for real.
