Hello to all and Congratulations for this Forum I used it for about a year without any problems G-Skill F3-12800CL8 8GBXM (2x4 GB) for second generation Intel Core Processor family and the Intel Z68 & P67 platforms branded holographic oct 2011, now installed the new G-Skill F3-12800CL8 8GBXM (2x4 GB) modules with Intel LGA1155/LGA1156 systems and AM3/AM3 + / FM1 platform with XMP ready, branded holographic label in July 2012, but my motherboard does not support these new memory modules, I ran a test with memtest86 and there are several errors. The XMP profile in the BIOS has been activated. How can they work together with the first series G-Skill F3-12800CL8 8GBXM? Big Thanks and excuse for my bad english. Regards

Motherboard in use: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (rev. 1.03)

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz

N.B
I have tested only two new modules with memtest86, but the errors are still present and blue screen crash windows when working in multitasking, games etc ... I also run tests with manual settings but the problem is the same

- Advanced Freq. Settings

- XMP disabled

- Set Memory Freq. to 1.600

- Performance Enhance - Turbo

- DRAM Timings Selectable - Auto

- Channell A/B Timings Settings
CAS- 8
TRCD - 8
TRP - 8
TRAS - 24
Command Rate (CMD) - 2

- Motherboard Voltage Control
QPI/VTT - 1.115
DRAM Voltage - 1.560

I can't find F3-12800CL8-8GBXM. There is only F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM -> http://gskill.com/products.php?index=356 but I think it's about the same.
So you have 2 kits , almost the same in specs and you want to run all as 4x4GB on your board ...

You can set QPI/VTT to 1.15V for tests and try 8-8-8-24 2N ~1.55V. Also if you have VCCSA setting then add +0.05-0.10V.
If it won't run like that then try to run them @ 9-9-9-24 2N 1.50-1.55V and check if it's stable.
If you make it work then try 8-9-8-24 2N 1.50-1.55V

Try also switching memory in slots like if you have new sticks in slots 1/3 then move them to 2/4.

I have run memtest86 with other tests of single module ram, now only errors of a single module, I believe that a form of the new kit is defective, now I am using 12 GB of RAM without any problems with XMP mode activated. In these cases what is the policy and the time taken for the substitution of GSkill? Thank you
