New Monitor Need- Where to Begin?

I need to get at least one, maybe two monitors. Their use will be for business work. Primarily MS Office, Internet AND some Graphic works. I need to have good contrast, as I'll be looking at images that are bright green against a black background, basically some digital imaging.

I'd like something at least the size of my Dell in my sig file, if I were to only get one.

Required Specs

IPS Display
Resolution at least 1920 x 1080, I do not need 4K and won't buy it.
FHD monitor at least
Price range no more than 250$ for one monitor. I don't need a curved monitor either. I just need something that is good with more space than my tiny laptop's 14" screen.

Thanks, this is a good start. Not sure if I'm going with dual monitors or a single large one yet. I used a dual system for work related stuff and it was quite nice to have all that space.
