New Palit nVidia cards...

are they any better since Palit bought Gainward? I'm looking at the 6600gt in particular.

I don't know but my 7600GT looks almost exactly like the Gainward one. Same colour, same kind of cooler, generally can't be an accident. I suppose there would be a lawsuit coming if it weren't the same owner. So it looks like Palit cards do benefit from the purchase of Gainward. I suppose it's like the cheapest cards around getting some goodies (even if it means just the design) from one of the top brands at the same price still. Can't complain about that.

The down side to them well here in England anyay is that they only have a 1 year warranty
