DO NOT get the maxtor.... well maybe not...
I've had 2 rma's(thats 3 total of the same drive) in 3 years, and my brother had to rma his once as well. Thats a total of 5 maxtor drives in 3 years when we originally bought 2 of them. His went fast enough to lose ALLL the data on it including about 20 gigs of ripped music. I had bought my 160 gig before his went and my other one went a second time... I will only put games and disposable crap on it...
