OK, been trying to get BOINC running for over an hour. Here's a typical time cycle. Fails everytime at the same point, just keeps trying.

So what else do I need to do to actually GET a work unit and DO SOME WORK?

Thanks!

If you are still having problems, try these things in this order until it starts running correctly.
1. Reset Project
2. Detach from Project and reattach ( you will also have to merge computers )
3. Uninstall Bonic, delete the directory, re-install (merge computers)

What is "merge computers" and why should it be done?

Once a particular computer contacts the scheduler, it is assigned a specific number. If you have to do a detach and reattach or a new install to get Seti Boinc working then that computer is still listed but another number is assigned for that same computer. When you go to 'your account' / view computers there would be two instances of the same computer. You can view one of the two same computers and select at the bottom the option to 'merge computer' with the other same computer and thus would not show both numbers that are assigned to that computer.
