Planning on getting another ASUS motherboard for my next build. I am going to use the z68, but seeing how they released them so early do you think they will be making new ones around the launch of the ivy bridge?

It will be a different chipset, Z77. That said, any Z68 with a bios update, will run IB. So essentially it doesnt matter much.

Have we heard any news on the Z77 Chipset yet?

I'm kinda in the spot where I'm trying to decide whether to sell my MIVE-Z and wait for a Z77 equivalent... Or go ahead and keep the MIVE-Z for benching IB.

Anybody got any input?

Edit: Just put my google fu to use... Doesn't seem like much of an improvement over Z68 in the benching department.

Hmmm so is ASUS planning to launch a motherboard that will use PCIe 3.0 that uses the ivy bridge socket (1155) other than the z77?
