NF7-S v2.0 bios, which verison should I flash to?

Should the BIOS be updated to 14 before the OS is installed or afterwards? Does it matter at all?

It didn't make a differance for me when I flashed a week after the w2k OS install.

I did have to enable the CPU interface in the BIOS just under the fsb settings in order to use any multipliers below 11x. This is supposed to make the mobo more stable when overclocking.

you can do it whenever it suits you.

What BIOS version did you have before v1.6?

I don't actually know, it was the one that the board came with from the factory.

If your temps dropped a lot afterwards, it was the v1.2 most likely

I need to update my BIOS also, anyone else using 16? I hear good about the 14...but the new 16...anyone?!

If you have 1.2, I'd just go for 1.6.

I have 1.4 and nothing's broken so I'll stay pat.

I'm gonna give the 1.6d a shot when I can get my hands on a floppy drive, hopefully within the next day or two. If anyone tries it in the meantime, let me know how it goes.
