Now everything is back like it used to be,but PC gets bsod or restarts once in every couple of hours,usually when i stress the cpu too much.Why is this happening?What could have i damaged?

What CPU cooler are you using?


With the exception of inadequate cooling I've never seen overclocking damage a computer ...

I am using the stock cooling,but i dont think this is the real problem.I have been using this PC over a year overclocked like it is now,never gave me bsod.The max temp i have seen is 63C on the cpu with Prime95,when i had it clocked to 2,9ghz.but now its back to 1,2vcore 2,362ghz and max temp is 55C.

I lowered fsb to 220 and its rock-solid.But before it was rock-solid with 225...i told ya,this mobo is the WEIRDEST u can ever find...

Cooling is a critical part of OC'ing but you said your temps were fine so ...

anyway,thx for all the help,atleast i found the problem.Now im gonna get a ddr2 800 from a friend and try to push it to 3ghz
