noctua NH-D14?

I currently have a noctua NH-U12P SE2 and was just curious as to what type of a cooling increase I would I see with the NH-D14 on a intel i7 950 set at 3.2ghz....

my cpu temps currently run at around 40c at idel and 60 under load....i may also decide to upgrade my cpu to a i7 970 or 980 in the near future

you will see a MAX decrease of 3-5'c, if that.

Not really worth it imo...

I have the same cooler on my 870, and it is great. Not sure you would see much difference.

I actually just ordered 10 of them for work builds. That's how much I like the U12P's...

Good to know. I have the NH-U12P and was just budgeting out a new i7 build. Saving $80 at the cost of a few degrees sounds good to me.
