If only the latest drivers werent crapping out my card... Im getting random black screens for no reason (stock clocks and voltages) with the last set or two of drivers.

257.21 FTW?

just bad luck =( report it to NV

The beta drivers were also stable.

I did that. No idea on teh issues. Go back to 257.21, no problems. Not saying anyone else will have this issue, just that I had it.

Thanks for the heads up EarthDog.I installed them and they work very well on my 9500GT.I did use driver sweeper before though.

This is the first time I have had any issues with any of their drivers. I thought it was OCP kicking in but a jump back to those listed above worked out for me. Im glad these are working out for everyone else!! :)

Installed these drivers with my new 580. Crysis performance is worse than with my 480 at the same clocks. Interesting. Otherwise, they seem to be good drivers.

yep, huge performance decrease on my gtx 460

Before posting anything with value = HUGE please do the following.

run some benchmarks with old drivers, in perfect conditions, this means no Background program running.

3 runs should be ok to get consistent data.

after that do the same with newer drivers.

But do not come in here saying X < Y without testing it out first.

This said, whenever i will have some time i will do before and after on my current setup. but so far, very stable and didn't notice any Fps loss (which is rare to happen anyway)

stay tuned . . . =)

I spent over 4 hours benchmarking last night, under all different circumstances, different benchmarks, etc. I summed it up in the above line lol.

Any chance that the drivers default to different IQ settings? Perhaps an IQ got bumped from Performance or Quality up to the next notch (Quality, or High Quality respectively). I do remember getting some pretty different scores back in the day changing IQ and vSync settings on old 3dmark01 with an Mx420 :p

FINIALLY!!!

These drivers fixed the many problems I was having in Bad Company 2!

On the beta drivers, and on 260.99, I kept getting tons of artifacts, textures would screw up, would get lines everywhere, colors would be screwed up, and all kinds of GFX screw ups. Instead of dust in the air, I'd get pixelated static.

The only way I could minimize this was to run my GTX 260 at stock. But I'd still get the GFX screw ups occationally, and they'd get worse over time. If I tried to overclock the video card even the slightest, I'd get artifacts, glitches, and straight out crashes.

Installed these drivers, and now the game runs perfectly. Have the video card overclocked to 860/1720, and 2100 on memory. I know I can go a bit higher, but I'm making sure it stays good and stable first. But now the game is running great. Not a single GFX error since I installed them, and I can go back to having my video card overclocked without the game crashing!

I is happy!

I just got my new EVGA 470 in yesterday..updated drivers after install and am getting Unstable machine trying to fold it and also slight artifacts runnning evga oc scanner....all stock..

So I hope it's a driver issue....will revert back tonight and try again.

Try making a more agressive fan profile or turning it up. AUTO fan sucks.

the drivers worked perfect for me, No BSOD yet. even got a lil boost in a few becnhmarks. about 80 points average better on 3dmark06. and about 30 on the FFXIV benchmark.

thats an average over 5 runs. ran 5. got an anverage. ran 5 after the update got an average. it was 76 points higher. in 06.
