I just changed bios back to normal meaning not beta ..

Problem was with old bios the cpu clock , nb clock and dram clocks keep changing under Everest Ulti 5.3 ..

From 3.7 ghz down to 1.2ghz I could maybe under stand if I had cool´n´quite enabled but I don´t ...

Under Cpuz it stays around 3.5 ghz ...

Which 1 do I beleave ? Plus does that mean something is failing in my system ? Or is Everest telling me a bunch of bull ?

Thanks 4 any info .:bang head:bang head:bang head

Does it do that when you're running something like Prime95?

I understand you turned off CnQ but with old boards you never know what's happening. If P95 is running and it's still showing fluctuating speeds in Everest, but not CPU-Z, then I'd say there's some problem with Everest.

If it doesn't do that when P95 is running then I'd say your BIOS is running CnQ regardless of the setting and the CPU-Z sample rate must be lower than Everest (which I do find odd).

Edit:
OCCT shows CPU speeds while it's running, what's it saying?

Just under load it does this .. Gaming and p95 ..

@ idle stays at O.C. (3.5 atm)

But only everest shows this happening cpuz stays @ 3.5 plus minus .2 mhz

kinda weird
