I know my PC is starting to show its age, Its a Sony Vaio with: a 3.4 Pentium 4 HT, 1 Gig of ram, a XFX 7600GT, and it is dual booting Vista Home Premium and XP MCE. How much longer do you think my rig can stand up to the test of time, and what should I upgrade first, or should I just dump it and get a 360, because I can't afford a new setup. I want to use the stock motherboard and PSU, and the model number is VGC-RA830G. Please help me and my rig!

I would say do the simplest thing and but another gig of RAM. Your computer would need DDR2-666

whats actually the problem you have with your pc. a pc just showing age doesnt mean it needs upgrading. if what your using it for is doing the job fine then you have nothing to worry about.
ram will help a lot.
but i wouldnt go and build a whole new pc cos its a couple of years old.
