Hello everyone,

First time builder here and I was wondering if this would be a reliable motherboard for my first build.

Motherboard I am considering:

^___^

Other parts are the following:

Video card - EVGA GTX 560

RAM - G.Skill Rip-Jaw 1600 8 GB

Processor - AMD Athelon II x3 3.3ghz

Power Supply - Not decided yet, would like some recommendations! Will make a separate post for this later but feel free to give me some pointers on this.

Give me any and all advice on the motherboard I listed, other parts and how they work with that motherboard, or just any general tips on computer building.

Thanks!

ECS is absolutely the bottom feeder in the motherboard world and even more so when it comes to overclocking.

Hey Trents, thanks for the feedback so quickly!

What are some other brands you would recommend that would be compatible and reliable with my other hardware?

NOTE: While I know this is an overclocking forum, I do NOT plan on overclocking anything!

I simply post here because the expertise the community has is incredibly helpful. ^____^

I appreciate the advice though, keep it coming! :)

I concur with RGone's suggestion. That is a good mid range motherboard. I have the non-evo version of it and have been very pleased.
