Hi all,

Im beginning to overclock my Athlon 64 3000 chip. Ive got a DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D board and 2 sticks of Geil pc3200 1gb ram.

Im looking for some general advice, the max multiplier i can select in the bios seems to be 9.0x. So far i have upped the FSB to 245 from the stock 200. To give me a new clock speed of 2205 from the original 1800.

I am using an arctic cooling freezer 64 pro fan which keeps the cpu at around 35 degrees regardless of load.

How can i improve on this overclock?, if i up the FSB to anything above 250 it will not POST.

should i start looking into the vcore voltage? any help appreciated.

Cheers

Alex :)
