I got 3x2GB sticks of OCZ memory that are rated at DDR3 1600, but I've always ran the sticks at DDR3 1333 speeds for a few years(since I bought the computer), because that's what the motherboard defaulted to.

I remember just after I bought the computer, I saw differences about the motherboard's RAM supported speed; on the newegg site it still says DDR3 1800(O.C)/1600, and on the Foxconn site it says Triple DDR3 2000(**oc)/1800(**oc)/1600(**oc)/1333/1066x 3 DIMMs.

I've never overclocked, but I'm thinking "overclocking" the RAM for now, and then the CPU. Should I just go to the BIOS and change the RAM speed, or do I have to play around with the voltage/other stuff? How complicated is overclocking?

These are the full PC specs:

Intel i7 920 Bloomfield @ 2.66Ghz (stock)
Thermalright eXtreme 1366RT
Foxconn BloodRage x58 Motherboard
OCZ 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 1600 (running at 1333)
Seagate 500GB Sata ||
BFG Tech GTX 260 MaxCore
Xigmatek 750W PSU
Lian Li PC-V1010B
ASUS VE247H 23.6" 2ms LED BackLight
**Ordered last night Samsung 830 256GB SSD

These are my idle temps:

Mobo: 43C
CPU: 42C
GPU Core: 51C
GPU Board: 44C
HDD: 41C

These temps look like I can overclock the CPU? I've seen people running i7 @ 4Ghz!?!

Just manually change the DRAM frequency from DDR3-1333 to DDR3-1600, and the DRAM voltage and timings to their rated values. Or if the BIOS has a XMP Profile setting available, select the DDR3-1600 option (normally Profile #1).
