It all started a few days ago..
A forum member asked me a few days ago if I could send him a copy of Overclockix as he couldn't use BitTorrent, so I sent him the one I had handy (an oldish Eidolon) through an IRC DCC send. That wasn't the end of it. Once sent, burned, and starting up, he got this:
Looks nasty doesn't it?
So, on this and the fact that the new 3.4 version was out, I downloaded that and thought it would be a good idea to check it out to see if it's a good send, so that doesn't happen again.
Googling came up with "MD5" so I downloaded a few programs and got the following when I checked the files I have:
Anyone get a similar checksum? I don't wanna burn bandwidth for no reason sending someone a dud copy again
edit: I used this to check it.
