Is it possible for a motherboard to do that? Its either the sensor is way out or my motherboard is over volting my CPU by 5%(dead on...).

Its not causing me any problems or anything, i'm just interested to know whether it really is just a duff sensor.

Strange...There is an option in my Bios to up the vcore by 5% but i have it disabled...

Thanks.
Yes i'd heard about Abit boards undervolting so thats why i asked.
What affect can that(overvolting) have? Other than increasing temps slightly?
I guess it maybe a good thing for when i overclock with me only being able to up the vcore by 5%, and will allow me to take it up to around 1.85v. Or doesnt it work like that?

Overvolting will increase the temps and increase the stability of your system. ...and yes it works like that ;)
