@QuietIce yeah i haven't had an amd in a long time (didnt know the differences in avg temps between the 2)my last one was a duron something i just know some people still operate in the low 60s at full load(oc'd) to each his own i guess i prefer keeping my cpu relatively cool

What's the highest Vcore I can safely go? Right now I'm running prime95 @3.624 and a 1.456v but my temps are only 55*c

"Only 55°C" means stop right there. Phenom's don't like going over 55°C for a loaded core temp.

Do you have SmartFan (in BIOS) disabled? If "yes", then maybe your case airflow is a little short. Try taking the side off the case and using a room fan to blow fresh air into the case. If your load temps go down then that's your problem ...
