problems with new HIS 4850 iceq4 turbo 512.

I just tried to install OCCT some type of GPU stability program. It says I do not have CUPA, whatever that is and then I read that I may need to update directx.

I tried updating directx to march 2009 redistributable. It starts to install and then disappears. Not even sure if it installed but did not show any errors.

when I go to dxdiag it shows I have 0904 version which I am pretty sure is older than the new march 2009. What happened to my installation? any ideas.

try a different version maybe? or try running the installation as administrator?

Something else I just though of when furmark crashed for me, check to see if there are any red lights on the back of the card. It should help diagnose your problem.
