processor swap question

I have a Latitude D600 with a Pentium M 400mhz and a Inspiron 6000 with a Pentium M 533mhz, so my question is does the Latitude D600 support 533 mhz fsb?

The d600 uses an intel 855pm chipset. Intel only lists 400mhz fsb support.

i looked around, and someone claimed that it will work, just at 400mhz meaning that the 1.6 533mhz will actually run at 12 x 100 instead of 12 x 133. does this sound right?

Since the chipset does not recognise the 533fsb, it will not compensate for it, it will run 12x100.
