pump and seperate reservoir placement for best performance ?

I just tore my corsair 650D case all apart, to replace coolant and hoses.
Now I realize that the rads have not been cleaned in 5 years and I think
the res and pump should be relocated.

Any help with placement would be much appreciated. View attachment 209187

Res above the pump is the only rule, so to speak.

What ED said. The water level in the res needs to be higher than the pump inlet so air pockets don't accumulate in the pump.
