Cant seem to overclock this thing
I have tried everything so far and nothing seems to want to make this machine work, even easttune6 cant do anything but standard. Please help!

Q9450
gigabyte ep45-ds4p mb
8gb ocz titanium
1000w corsair psu
lots of cooling fans
No luck what so ever :(

well I tried adjusting the system clock to 400
uped the voltage to 1.325
changed emp to disable
and upped the vram voltage to 2.2
changed the timings to 4-4-4-15 t1
still nothing

Did you set it to 1:1 mem divider?

Also, why did you tighten the timings? Stick w/ 5-5-5-15 2T until you get everything else worked out.

I tried losening the timings to 5-5-5-15 t2 and then 6-6-6-18 t2 still no go, and I did set it to 1:1. could it be im not getting the voltage settings in the bios right?

Cpu 1.275
cpuvcore 1.2
pll 1.56
fsbv 1.28
mb 1.25

hate to say it, but after all I have read on how to overclock I think being a noob is not helping me.

Thank you everyone But I got it going, whoo hoo. What was the problem, simple I was changing the voltages on the ramand forgetting to change to 2t. I just left it on auto and now:

I got to 3200.13
sysclock 400.02
1.248v core

Ram is ddr2-800
480mhx
fsb:dram 5:6
5-5-5-15 2t

So all the readings were right, youll get frustrated, youll get ****ed, your get desprate, but so long as you dont get a burnt out toaster when your done, youll get happy results.

Again thank you everyone for your input, I appreciate it, 18min and running, next stop hotcpu tester.
