Short answer, yes and no, lol. To absolutely answer the question, its a no.

What the chipset/board/bios supports is the main thing. Some boards support faster ram than others for example. While it's all ddr4, all ddr4 may not work on all boards that support it... if that makes sense.

Will you be more specific? Is there a board and some sticks and you want to know of they are compatible? Does this have to do with your thread on troubleshooting the new system?
 
Yes it’s related to my new build not working.

The motherboard is an Asus Prime B660 Plus D4 LGA 1700. The ram is ripjaws v series 8gb x 2 288 pin DDR4 3200 PC4 25600.

Thanks for any help.
