I was looking for rumored release dates for Intel's upcoming CPUs because I wanted to know when their would be processors available capable of outperforming Intel's current top-tier desktop CPUs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadwell_(microarchitecture)#Expected_variants

The above states that Broadwell-K series chips will probably be available in the second quarter of 2015 and will have better power efficiency (a 65W TDP), but does anyone know if these actually benchmark better than Intel's current best offerings?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skylake_(microarchitecture)#Release_timing

The above is unclear about when Skylake-K series chips will come out. Does anyone know? Will these chips perform a lot better than Intel's current best offerings?

Did I miss any other Intel CPUs that will soon be released?

Any performance increase on yet to be released hardware will be pure conjecture. No one will know how they actually perform till they physically get one in their hands and can test it.
