questoion on nf4 ultra-d mod

if i mod the board with the trick and i dont have 2 sli compatable bopards yet can i put the jumpers on normal and run one card instead of two with a moded chip

Yes you can always switch back to just one 16x video slot.

Yes, all you have to do is it for single card operation. The mod makes the pci-e lanes programmable so they can be mapped to either of the 16x slots, it does not force it into SLI mode, thats determined by the jumper block.
