Errrrgh; I really want to offer, but finals are coming up, and I only have the gnome side of things, I'd have to poke around with KDE more to feel more... authorized, to speak on it's behalf :p

As far as wm's go, I really only have experience with xmonad and awesome... I guess if no one else has taken up this thread by winter break I may update it; I feel like it would be helpful since I spent the last hour trying to find some good widget managers before coincidentally running into this thread ><
